The system includes four levels of qualification for the divers and three levels of qualification for the instructors. The larger number of stars at the certificate indicates higher level of training and experience. In our diving center you can make the CMAS courses for divers of 1, 2 and 3 stars.

CMAS * certificate gives you the right to dive for a depth of 18 meters in a pair with a more experienced diver. This course is the foundation for further studying. You can start this course if you are at least 14 years old.

At this course you will know how to use modern diving equipment, to gear the scuba, to check its work, to put it on and take it off in the different conditions, to care for it, to use a mask, snorkel and fins properly. You will study how to enter the water and come out of the water safely in different conditions, to control buoyancy, to dive in a group observing the necessary discipline, to learn the communication signs under the water.

You will also learn the elements of dive planning and will plan your actions in emergency situations. You will get theoretical knowledge of physics and physiology of diving needed to understand the fundamental processes that occur with a person under the water.

The course is divided into two parts:
– Theoretical lessons with an instructor;
– Practical training in the open water.

CMAS * divers have no rights to dive without more experienced diver.

After successful completion of the course CMAS * you may start the next course – CMAS **.
