ONE STAR DIVER COURSE

  1. Being at least 14 years old, (parental consent form is required for those under 18 years old.)
  2. Declaration and presentation of a health notification form stating that they have sufficient swimming ability prepared by the federation and that there is no obstacle to diving.
  3. Having a primary education diploma or equivalent certificate.

ONE STAR DIVER RESPONSIBILITIES

A one-star diver is a diver who can put on, take off, and use diving equipment correctly in shallow training waters and is ready to dive with at least three-star divers in open sea dives. One-star divers can dive up to a maximum depth of 18 meters.

TWO STAR DIVER COURSE

  1. Being at least 15 years old (parental consent form is required for those under 18)
  2. Signing and presenting a health declaration form stating that there are no impediments to diving prepared by the Federation
  3. Having a primary school diploma or equivalent educational certificate
  4. Having obtained the Federation’s 1-star diver certificate or an equivalent approved certificate
  5. Documenting at least 20 open sea dives in a dive logbook after obtaining the 1-star diver certificate.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES OF A TWO STAR DIVER

A two star diver is an experienced open sea diver. A 2-star diver can dive up to a maximum depth of 30 meters with at least one other 2-star diver. Two-star divers under 18 years of age can dive up to a maximum depth of 24 meters under the leadership of at least a 3-star diver. Two-star divers over 18 years of age can dive up to a maximum depth of 42 meters for training purposes under the supervision of a diving instructor.

THREE STAR DIVER COURSE

  1. Being at least 18 years old
  2. Signing and presenting a health declaration form stating that there are no impediments to diving, signed by a relevant medical expert
  3. Having at least a high school diploma or equivalent educational certificate
  4. Having obtained the Federation’s 2-star diver certificate or an equivalent approved certificate
  5. Documenting at least 40 dives in a dive logbook after obtaining the 2-star diver certificate
  6. At least four months having passed since obtaining the 2-star diver certificate.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES OF A THREE STAR DIVER

A three star diver is a diver who is capable of leading divers of different levels. The three star diver is authorized and responsible for ensuring that the diving group they lead performs safe dives in accordance with the diving standards. A three-star diver can dive up to a maximum depth of 30 meters. For training purposes, a three-star diver can dive up to a maximum depth of 42 meters under the supervision of a diving instructor.
